OBJECTIVE

The aim of the School is to impart quality education designed for the all-round development of the child. This is to prepare the pupils for the world of tomorrow and to prepare them for their future duties by a careful cultivation of their minds, hearts and bodies with intellectual, moral, social and professional enlightenment. Special emphasis is placed on the human virtues of truthfulness, honesty, politeness, simplicity, self-discipline and punctuality. Mutual respect especially for the less fortunate ones is the aspects of St. Francis School. Although it is a Christian School, every student is encouraged to practice his/her religion.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

The medium of instruction is English, and the method of study is in accordance with the scheme laid down by the Council for Primary, secondary and the Higher Secondary stages approved by the Council. Special importance is given to English, including spoken English, for which a high standard is maintained. Hindi as the national language from Primary and Punjabi as the regional language from Primary level are taught with priority.

RULES REGISTRATION OF A CANDIDATE

1. Parents seeking admission of their child must register the name in advance. Registration to Nursery, LKG & UKG shall be open to all, irrespective of caste, creed or race subject to the availability of seats and eligibility.

2. Registration for the admission to these classes depends on the availability of the seats and the vacant seats are expected to be very few. Registration of a child does not guarantee admission, but only means that the child is entitled to appear for an entrance test and an interview.

3. The Principal and the school management reserve the right to grant or refuse admission even after the test and interview. No candidate will be admitted without proper screening, test and interview.
